OmaRecorder
A little something we gave away. OmaRecorder isn’t one of our apps. It’s a free, open-source plugin for the Omarchy Linux desktop that we made for ourselves and liked too much to keep to ourselves.
What it does
Hit record right from the Omarchy bar (a meeting, a lecture, a long-winded D&D session) and OmaRecorder keeps the audio and transcribes it on your own machine. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere. When it’s done, the transcript lands in your Obsidian vault, ready to search, link, and quote.
In the words of the dad who built it: a cool little plugin that makes D&D Dad life easier and better.
Free, open source, yours
OmaRecorder is MIT-licensed and built entirely from what already ships with Omarchy. No accounts, no billing, no strings. Because it’s a plugin rather than a full Huey Holdings app, it lives on GitHub instead of getting its own corner of our site.
It’s also on its way to the omarchyplugins.com marketplace, and we’ll link the listing here as soon as it’s approved.
