About us

We’re coding hobbyists who started making tools to solve our own household’s little problems, and figured other families might like them too.

We desaign, code and release apps made for productivity.

What we care about

  • Apps that earn their place on your home screen by actually making life easier.
  • Privacy by default. Your data is yours.
  • Simple enough to use when you’re tired, hungry, and it’s already 6pm.
  • Solving one problem really well instead of trying to do everything.

Who is behind Huey Holdings?

A family of coding hobbyists. The LLC is just the legal wrapper so each app has a consistent home for billing, support, and policy.

What kind of apps do you make?

We built Ruthie because we never wanted to hear “what’s for dinner?” again. She’s a dinner decision engine that learns what you like, works around dietary restrictions, remembers your favourites, and gets better at knowing what you’ll actually want to eat over time.

Why is the company called Huey?

Huey is our four-year-old tabby Maine Coon. He supervises most of the coding from his spot beside Mom at the computer, taking occasional breaks for snuggles.
